Two
Tracks: find the right one for you!
DCEP: Diplomate,
Comprehensive Energy Psychology, is for licensed mental health
professionals (or the equivalent in your location to being licensed) .
CEHP: Certified
Energy Health Practitioner is for a broad range of allied health and
human potential fields and/or those whose academic degrees are in mental
health but who are not licensed mental health
practitioners.
Program
Components:
1.
Conceptual Clarity: Home-study
modules are available on-line, provided through and using portions of Energy
Psychology Interactive. DCEP requires 11 modules, and CEHP
requires 13 modules.
2. Technical and
Ethical Competence: completion of a three-day Certification
Workshop for all candidates and a fourth workshop day for CEHP candidates
covering counseling skills, dealing with trauma, how to spot complex
psychological issues, and knowing when to refer.
3. Treatment
Proficiency: A minimum of 20 hours of Certification
Case Consultation with an ACEP-approved Certification Consultant.
Up to ten of these hours may be small group consultation.
