Level Two: Advanced Training
CEs: This program has been approved for 18 Continuing Education hours for relicensure, in accordance with 258 CMR. Collaborative of NASW-MA and the Boston College and Simmons College Schools of Social Work Authorization Number D 40375-6. Benefits of Diagnosing Customized Sequences:
Standard tapping sequences like Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Thought Field Therapy algorithms work very well, but they are like a wrap-around skirt--the same treatment no matter what size the problem is. Creating a customized meridian tapping sequence, also called "Diagnostic Thought Field Therapy," muscle tests to determine which points are needed to rebalance the system and in what order. The customized sequence is like an elegant tailor-made suit, exactly fitting the problem at hand. Testing weak on the gall bladder meridian point indicates rage, weakness on the large intestine indicates guilt, weakness on the heart meridian indicates anger, etc. Measuring the Human Energy Field In my experience of using dowsing rods to measure the perimiters of the human energy field, I have found that when energy is not flowing through the system properly, a person's energy field is literally off-center, lopsided. Dowsing rods show not only the configuration of the imbalance, but also the size of the energy envelopes around the body. A pendulum held over any one of the seven major wheels of energy (called "chakras" in Sanskrit) will trace the energy flow to see how that area of the body is processing energy. These diagnostic tools add to the information provided by muscle testing to determine when a client's energy is centered and ready to proceed with treatment.
When one holds a negative belief about one's life, such as "I don't deserve love" or " I am bad," any evidence contrary to this belief will be rejected. People will choose partners who reinforce their subconscious beliefs about themselves, perpetuating the wound. Finding and clearing the negative beliefs and replacing them with their positive correlates, such as, "I deserve love" and "I am good enough" changes the filter of life experience and upgrades emotional health. Toxins in the environment in food, water, and air make a subtle disruption in neurological functioning and cause the poles which set the energy flow (north-south) within the body to reverse from the proper direction, called "counter-flow chi" in Oriental Medicine. Some common symptoms of polarity problems are trouble thinking straight, difficulty concentrating, feeling hyperactive, lack of organization, and excess or deficient flow of emotion. Some clients are sensitive to certain foods. While the reaction is not large enough to show up on an allergy test, the food has the subtle effect of disrupting thought mechanisms and causing neurological disorganization. The most common foods people have this substance sensitivity to are wheat, milk, and chocolate. These sensitivities cause polarity reversals, which lead to emotional imbalance. To get emotionally healthy and stay that way, toxins that are affecting a client need to be identified and avoided where possible. But since we cannot avoid all contact with toxins, the organs impacted by these substances can be treated with customized meridian tapping sequences to get them back on their jobs in spite of the toxic interference.
